The MPS30 can take 3 samplessimultaneously within the optimizedheating block with a maximumtemperature of 400°C (752ºF).A plateau facility is included withvariable ramp rate between 0.5 and10°C (1 to 18°F) in 0.1°C (0.2°F)increments. The tubes areilluminated with bright white LED’sto give the clearest view of thesamples during the melt. The blockhas been designed for easy accessfor cleaning, the front of the head isfully removable to allow full accessto the micro furnace.The MPS30 has a large clear backlit alphanumeric LCD display,running the menu system whichclearly guides you through themelting process with comprehensivedirections. It is possible to record upto 8 events in memory for each ofthe three sample tubes.The MPS30 features the head updisplay, this unique feature displaysa floating image of the blocktemperature, visible through theeyepiece, in front of the tubes. Thehead up display eliminates the needfor the user to keep switching theirgaze between the tubes and thetemperature display.To allow the most comfortableviewing angle the MPS30 features a2-stage head adjustment. The headcan then be stored safely backwithin the body of the unit forstorage. The design of the unit haslots of other useful features such asslots for storing pre-preparedsamples and a storage draw tohold a container of capillary tubes.An accessory printer is availableseparately to produce a writtenrecord of the melt, and all units aresupplied with a NIST calibrationcertificate showing individual serialnumbers for traceability.
