Description

The DRSL-TEMP isolated DIN railloop-powered temperature signalconditioner measures a standardtype J or K thermocouple or a 2-,3- or 4-wire Pt100 RTD temperaturesensor and provides a passiveanalog current output signal.

TheDRSL-TEMP offers 2-way isolationbetween input and output, providessurge suppression and protectscontrol systems from transients andnoise.

The DRSL-TEMP provides acompetitive choice in terms of bothprice and technology for interfacingthermocouple or RTD signals toSCADA systems or PLC equipment.This unit is powered by the host(output) current signal loop. Lowpower consumption facilitates DIN railmounting without the need for any airgap. Easy configuration of more than1000 factory calibrated measurementranges is done via DIP-switches. Theunit operates over a wide temperaturerange from -25 to 70°C (-13 to 158°F).
