The FPU2000 Series fixed pumpsfeed by an analog fixed 60 secondtimer. The pump can be on for 1 to60 seconds. All FPU2000 Serieshave fixed speed outputs and canbe adjusted by selecting the pumphead tube size and choosingthe desired RPM (revolutions perminute).
The FPUVS2000 andFPUDVS2000 Series variablespeed pumps are for continuouspumping relatively pulse free, even whileadjusting the percentage of output.The variable speed pump requiresthe use of brushes on the DCmotor. Excellent brush lifeexpectancy (2000 hours). An extraset of brushes included with everypump.
The FPUDVS2000 Serieswill accept any one of threedifferent types of external inputsignals; 4 to 20 mA, 0 to 10 Vdc,or frequency. The 4 to 20 mA and0 to 10 Vdc loops must be powered.Two types of frequency inputs, ACsine waves (magnetic coils typeoutputs) and digital square waves(Hall Effect signals, contactclosures), are acceptable. A jumperplug located on the circuit board isfactory pre-set for AC sine wavesignals, the jumper must bere-positioned when digital square wave signals are being used. Allwiring connections are to be madeinside of the junction box locatedon the side of the FPUDVS2000Series.
A liquid tight connector issupplied and should be used for theexternal signal cable. The signalinput wires are color coded to thetype of signal being used.
