trodekslux® drum heaters caneasily be wrapped around a drumand attached with a simple springand hook arrangement. Once inposition, the drum heater providesuniform and even heat to thecontents of the drum. trodekslux®drum heaters are manufacturedusing a nickel alloy resistance wireand fully vulcanized fiberglassreinforced silicone rubber. They areresistant to mechanical damage andto attack from many chemicalsubstances. The use of reinforcedsilicone rubber material as a basefor the drum heater allows thedesign of extra flexible, very thinand efficient heaters. Each heaterband is equipped with a 1.8 m (6')cord set (230 Vac heaters do nothave a plug). A built-in metal screenis grounded electrically for safety.All heaters are high potentialdielectric tested at 1500V at thefactory. Drum heaters are availablewith either a 115 or 230V rating.When used with lightweightinsulating blankets, drum heatersprovide more efficient, more uniformheating with better temperaturecontrol. Designed for use with55 gallon steel drums, the ruggedaluminized cloth has 1" of fiberglassinsulation-for less heat loss andincreased worker safety. Provides outstanding freezeprotection, as well as temperatureand viscosity control. Velcrofasteners make installation easy fora single person. Components areUL recognizedand CSA certified.
