Description
The OMG-COMM8-PCI plugs into any IBM or compatible computerwith the PCI bus, and provides eight RS-232 Async ports forcommunication servers, terminals, point of sale (POS) systems, andother data collection devices. The on-board interrupt status portprovides maximum Windows flexibility. The OMG-COMM8-PCIincludes the 16554 UART, providing a 16 byte FIFO to keep your datacommunication applications running error free. The 16654 UART,featuring a deep 64 byte FIFO is optional for high speed applications.
Software
Windows XP/Vista/7 drivers are included as well as support for Linux. The driversprovide IRQ sharing, advanced UART support and serialdiagnostic utilities.
