The OM-CP-PULSE101A is alow-cost recording device that willsense a pulse input or contactclosure from external sources suchas transducers or pulse initiators(gas, water, and electric meters)and transform those inputs intoengineering units.In addition, this data logger allowsthe user to store user defined unitssuch as gallons/min into the deviceas well as scale factors and offsetvalues. This enables the user toeasily linearize and scale anytransducer that provides a pulse orcontact closure output to any userrequired units automatically.

Once activated the data loggersenses and records the number ofpulses/contact closures that occurwithin adjacent “time bin” periods.The bin period is selectable from1 second to over 24 hours. At theend of each bin period, the totalnumber of pulses/counts within thebin period is recorded.The data logger then starts anotherbin period and continues until eitherthe memory is full or the test periodhas ended. Its real time clockensures that all data is time and datestamped. This is ideal for recording events.

The storage medium is non-volatilesolid state memory, providingmaximum data security even if thebattery becomes discharged. Itssmall size allows it to fit almostanywhere. Data retrieval is simple.Plug it into an empty COM port andour easy-to-use software does therest.The software converts your PCinto a real time strip chart recorder.Data can be printed in graphical ortabular format and can be exportedto a text or Microsoft Excel file.

Password Protection: An optional password may beprogrammed into the device to restrict access to configurationoptions. Data may be read out without the password.
Engineering Units: Native measurement units can bescaled to display measurement units of another type. This is useful when monitoring outputs fromdifferent types of sensors such asflow rate, wind speed and more.
