Description
Housed in a wall-mount, watertightplastic enclosure, the DPS3300Series scanners offer highlyfunctional multichannel scanningwith a number of very usefulfeatures. Tasks that formerlyrequired multiple monitors can nowbe accomplished by using a singleunit. Signals from 7 differenttransducers are carried intoconveniently located screwterminals that are accessed througha sealed plastic cover. The unit automatically scans each channel,displaying the channel number andits process reading.
Signals from thermocouples, RTDs,and thermistors are linearized andcan be displayed in °C or °F.Current, voltage, and millivoltsignals are easily scaled forindicating the process in specifiedengineering units. Up to 7 differentprocesses can be displayed on asingle scanner, and each channelcan be assigned a 3-digit,alphanumeric engineering unit(psi, ft, etc.). Channels aresequentially displayed for aprogrammed length of time; with thehold feature, the display can be heldindefinitely on any one channel.
The DPS3300 has multiple displaymodes and can be programmed toscan all channels, display the channel with the highest or lowestreading, process deviation from apre-programmed setpoint, anddisplay differentials betweenchannels. The DPS3300 can alsorun merely as a timer.
Additional features include min/maxreadings and rate of change for allchannels (from a pre-programmedsetpoint). A control relay oropen-collector output for eachchannel is available as an option. Abuilt-in buzzer (available with outputoption) sounds an alarm whenevera limit is reached. Visual indicationof relay output status is givenby LEDs.
