The TX12 head mountedtemperature transmitter connectsto any standard pt100 resistancesensor and converts the linearizedtemperature to a 4 to 20 mA signal.The transmitter is a two wire device,and is fully configurable by the user,over a wide temperature range, withthe aid of a simple push button. Thisnew TX12 design incorporatesadditional configuration menus,allowing the user to push button trimthe transmitter output at both zeroand span, ideal for trimming outsensor errors. The transmittersadvanced circuitry guaranties highstability over the wide operatingambient temperature rangesexperienced by head mounteddevices.One of the transmitters features isthe program LED, which providesvisual indication of sensor faultwhen in normal operation and isalso used to guide the operatorthrough the simple menus duringconfiguration.
