The OS-PC cube is an infraredpyrometer with an extremely fastresponse time and a very smallmeasurement area size. It isavailable with or without theOS-PC-TSD touch screen interface.The sensor is designed forapplications where an extremelyfast response time is required, orwhere the object to be measured isvery small. It is an ideal temperaturesensor for blow molding preformmeasurement, as well asapplications in the food industry,laboratories, and many others.

Cable Manufacturing

It is now possible to monitor thetemperature of insulation andsheathing as they are appliedto very narrow cables, avoidingmanufacturing defects andensuring highly repeatable productquality.
Extrusion of plastic tubing andprofiles requires temperaturecontrol to ensure consistentquality. The tube or profile canbe narrow, so the very smallmeasured spot of the OS-PCcube sensor is ideal. If the die ischanged, the aiming angle of thesensor must often be adjusted,and the continuous LED sightingmakes this easy.
Electronics: PCB Testing
When testing the function ofcircuit boards, small componentscan heat up very quickly. TheOS-PC cube sensor can monitorthe temperature of very smallcomponents and read their surfacetemperature instantaneously.
FoodThe OS-PC cube sensorsadvanced peak hold functionalityis ideal for fast-moving conveyors,especially in food production.With the OS-PC cube sensor,it is now possible to measurethe temperature of thousands ofindividual items every minute.
