The trodeks RHCL-2 is amicroprocessor based,programmable humidity calibrationsystem that is at home in themetrology lab or out in the fieldperforming on site NIST traceablehumidity calibrations. The RHCL-2is entirely self-sufficient and doesnot need compressed air or a waterconnection to operate, which allowsthis system to be truly portable. Thesystem offers the highest accuracyavailable for both relative humidityand ambient temperature.
Temperature and relative humidityare controlled independently;therefore, you are not limited toperforming calibrations at thesurrounding ambient temperature.
The RHCL-2 uses an Optical ChilledMirror (OCM) primary measurementtechnique for traceability andfeedback control. Contributing toease of use are features such as maintenance reducing AutomaticBalance Cycle (ABC), an integralambient temperature probe, and D2chilled mirror sensor which arelocated in the sample chamberproviding not only superior accuracybut the fastest response.
The RHCL-2 employs a uniquecontrol scheme for maintainingprecise RH control. The systemincorporates volumetric proportionalcontrol valves. By independentlymodulating the "Dry" and "Wet"valves from full-open to full-close,and all points between, any desiredhumidity can be quickly generated.Additionally, because the RHCL-2 iscontinuously monitoring the samplechamber conditions via its integralchilled mirror, it is able toinstantaneously react to changes inhumidity and maintain controlstability.
