Description
These all-new multiconductor feedthroughs are designedfor applications that require several sensors to passthrough a wall or bulkhead at one opening or within asmall area. Heavy-duty 416 SS construction allows useof this fitting in high-pressure or vacuum applications.Probes between 0.040" and 1/4" in diameter can be used inthese feedthroughs. The maximum number of probes perfeedthrough is 3 for 1/4" diameter probes, 5 for 3/16" diameter,8 for 1/8" diameter, 16 for 1/16" diameter, and 16 for 0.040"diameter probes.
All multiconductor feedthroughs come standard withstainless steel ferrules. A stainless steel ferrule deformsand becomes permanent. If the probes have to be installedseveral times at different depths in the feedthrough,PTFE ferrules should be used. PTFE ferrules will notdeform the probe sheath, which allows the same probeto be reused. The ferrules used in the feedthroughs areidentical to the ferrules used in standard trodeksLOKcompression fittings.
