The new OMB-DBK81/82/83/84 aredesigned to provide very low noisethermocouple and milli-voltmeasurements, with high accuracy andvery close tracking between channels.These new models providethermocouple accuracy of better than0.5°C, and noise that is typically lessthan 0.2°C p-p, with no digitalaveraging required.
The performance of these newOMB-DBK cards is enabled throughtheir use of very low-noise amplifierson every channel. Built-in cold junctioncompensation and software-basedlinearization automatically providesyou with quiet and stable temperaturemeasurements, with no need to dealwith the usual complexities associatedwith thermocouple measurements.
All software that supports theOMB-DAQBOARD-2000 Series andOMB-LOGBOOK also support thesenew OMB-DBK options, providing youwith accurate and stable temperaturereadings on every channel. Fourdifferent models are offered so you canchoose the one that best fits yourapplication.
The OMB-DBK81 provides 7 differentialthermocouple/mV inputs, and installs intoany OMB-LOGBOOK and OMB-DBKenclosure. The OMB-DBK81 provideson-board screw-terminals for connectionof thermocouple/ mV signals directly tothe card.
The OMB-DBK82 provides 14 differentialchannels of thermocouple/mV inputs, andis physically taller than other OMB-DBKcards. The OMB-DBK82 installs into anOMB-DBK60 where it can be wireddirectly to the mini-thermocoupleconnector panels. Note that the OMB-DBK82will not install into a single-heightslot in the OMB-DBK10. Further, theOMB-DBK82 consumes two expansionslots in the OMB-DBK41 10-slotenclosure.
