Both operators exhibit anew lower profile stylish appearance whilemaintaining the rugged performancenecessary for demanding environments.
Two Operator Types
OMPBD7P is a plastic operator with acaptive black plastic front bezel. Constructedof high-grade thermoplastics the OMPBD7Pis the corrosion resistant solution for harshenvironments. For super tough applications,the OMPBD7M has a die-cast zinc housingand mounting ring for rugged durability.Both are finished with corrosion resistantchrome plating. The OMPBD7M alsofeatures a captive shiny metal bezel fora polished appearance.

Quick, Easy Installation
A standard anti-rotation tab keepsfront elements from turning or fallingoff the control panel, making it possiblefor one person to install all OMPBD7components even if the front and rearpanel are not accessible at the sametime. A central mounting ring allowsfor quick installation and removal ofall OMPBD7 operators. All back-of-panelcomponents including contact blocksand power module elements snap-on and are readily accessible and interchangeablewithout removing the pilot device fromthe panel.
Tool-Less Mounting Latch
The OMPBD7 "toolless"mounting latchmates the frontelement with thecontact blocks andother back-of-panelcomponents. Themounting latch isavailable in a plasticand metal design. The latches are easilyinstalled with a "click" and removedby pushing a rotating collar to the right.Quick, reliable and strong, it’s the bestpilot device mounting latch available inthe industry.

Most OMPBD7 operators have a mechanicalof ten million operations - five millioncontact blocks. Electrical life ranges from500,000 cycles at 3 A to ten million at 0.1 A.The OMPBD7 line is also electronicscompatible with self cleaning contacts.
Environmental Ratings
Front elements, including pushbuttons,mushroom operators and selector switches,are IP 66 protection against submersion,oil and dirt, making them reliable in thetoughest industrial environments. Metaloperators are Type 4/13 and Type 4/4X/13for plastic operators.
