Description
The DRSL-SP2 isolated signalconditioner/splitter provides acompetitive choice in terms of bothprice and technology for galvanicisolation of process voltage orcurrent signals to SCADA systemsor PLC equipment. Two processoutputs are provided which mirrorthe single process input.
The DRSL-SP2 can be used forsignal conversion of standardprocess voltage or current signalsinto two individual analog signals.The unit offers 4-port isolation,provides surge suppression andprotects control systems fromtransients and noise. TheDRSL-SP2 also eliminatesground loops and can be used formeasuring floating signals. Lowpower consumption facilitates DINrail mounting without the needfor any air gap. Factory calibratedmeasurement ranges are easilyconfigured via DIP switches. Whenthe input is configured for 2-wiretransmitter mode, the DRSL-SP2provides the current loop supplyvoltage. The unit operates over awide temperature range from-25 to 70°C (-13 to 158°F).
