Description
Description
The DP3002-M is a low-cost 4-1/2 digit(±19,999 count) temperature indicator for use withplatinum 100 RTD’s with alpha of 0.00385. It iscomplete with 1 mA sensor excitation, sensor-breakdetection, and platinum curve linearization. Resolutionis 0.1°. Readout can be in °C or °F, as selected bypush-on jumpers. The electrical connection can be by2-, 3-, or 4-wires. High accuracy is provided by positivecurrent feedback and matched, graded components.
STANDARD FEATURES
Mechanical features include a bright 14 mm (0.56")display, a screw-terminal barrier strip for signal andpower, and a compact 1/8 DIN case that requiresless than 104 mm (4.1") behind the panel. Electricalfeatures include jumper selection of °C or °F, alinearized recorder output of 1 mV per degree, and1 mA current excitation. The current source is tied tothe reference of the A/D converter for true ratiometricoperation and immunity to changes in line voltage.
OPTIONS
Power options include isolated 9 to 32 Vdc and26 to 56 Vdc. A splash-proof lens cover which meetsNEMA 4 (IP65) requirements allows the DP3002 to beused in harsh industrial environments.
