The AQM-101 is designed to measure HCHO concentration,air temperature and relative humidity with visible and audiblealarms. This HCHO monitor is an ideal instrument for indoorair quality (IAQ) diagnosis and HVAC system performanceverification.
FORMALDEHYDE (HCHO) is a gaseous component of theearth’s atmosphere. The concentration of HCHO in naturalambient air is about 0.03 ppm. Formaldehyde is found in anumber of products. While most of these products contain arelatively low amount of the compound, others have a fairlystrong concentration of formaldehyde. This is particularlytrue with products used in the course of scientific researchand other professions where tissue is preserved in somemanner. Formaldehyde exposure can lead to side effectsthat range from mild to life-threatening.
