Description

The Cutler-Hammer® MVX9000 Seriessensorless vector adjustable frequencyAC Drives from Eaton’s electrical businessare designed to provide adjustable speedcontrol of 3-phase motors. Thesemicroprocessor-based, sensorless vectordrives have standard features that can beprogrammed to tailor the drive’sperformance to suit a wide variety ofapplication requirements. The MVX9000sensorless vector series utilizes a 32-bitmicroprocessor and insulated gate bipolartransistor (IGBTs) which provides quietmotor operation, high motor efficiency andsmooth low speed performance. The sizeand simplicity of the MVX9000 Series makesit ideal for hassle free installation where sizeis a primary concern. Models rated at 480V,3-phase, 50/60 Hz are available in sizesranging from 1 to 10 hp. Models rated at240V, single- or 3-phase, 50/60 Hz areavailable in sizes ranging from 0.5 to 7½ hp.Models rated at 115V, single-phase,50/60 Hz are available in the ¼ to 1 hp sizerange. The standard drive includes a digital display, operating and programming keys ona removable keypad. The display providesdrive monitoring as well as adjustment anddiagnostic information. The keys are utilizedfor digital adjustment and programming ofthe drive and for operator control. Separateterminal blocks for control and power wiringare provided for customer connections.Other features provided as standard includebuilt-in DC braking, RS485 serialcommunications and PID control.
