Operating Instructions:
This unique, handy little gage is great for use in sensing thetemperature of almost any surface. The bimetal sensing element is exposedto allow quick accurate response to surface temperature, but adequatelyshielded from damage by a protective cover and heatcollector. For the most accurate reading this surfacethermometer should be used in still air. Place the gageon the surface where you wish to know the temperature– dial face up with bimetal sensing element against thesurface. The magnets will allow placement in anyposition on a ferrous surface. It can also be used on anyother material with a horizontal surface. Allow about aminute for the sensing element to stabilize and thenread the temperature. Higher or lower air temperaturessurrounding the thermometer or a draft over the surfacemay slightly affect the temperature indicated.
