The SA1-RTD surface-mount RTDtemperature sensor mounts on flator curved surfaces and providesClass A accuracy (See IEC 751 Class A/B Standard Tolerances Table, below) for criticaltemperature monitoring applications.Based on a 2 x 2 x 0.8 mm thin-filmplatinum RTD and supplied withbare 3-wire leads as a standardconfiguration (connector optional), itcan be customized for use in a widevariety of applications. The sensorcan be easily applied with its selfadhesivebacking, or positionedpermanently with trodeksBOND® cements.

Use the SA1-RTD to monitor chip,heat sink, and environmentaltemperatures in electronic devices; check piping or ducting temperatures;monitor motor and transformer coreheat; test insulation capabilities; andcheck other applications in whichsurface and/or gradient temperaturesneed to be monitored or controlled

Also Available with Stainless Steel Overbraid
For applications where electrical noise is prevalent or where sensorlead wire is being routed around sharp edges, the stainless steeloverbraid option (-SB) reduces noise and safeguardswire leads. Add "-SB" to the end of the part number listed inthe table on the spec sheet, and add $3.50/ft.
