Description
The HX80A Series is a familyof humidity probes that offera variety of measurementparameters with precisionaccuracy: relative humidity andtemperature, with dew point orpressure. The probe is easilyadaptable for most applicationsvia a 3/4 NPT fitting that can beadjusted to any desired position,including high temperature andhigh pressure conditions. Thisremote type transmitter comesstandard with a 1.8 m (6') cableand is ideally suited for manydifferent applications suchas environmental chambers,compressed air, and industrialapplications.Models offer a stainless steelprobe with a removable sinterstainless steel filter and RS232(which allows for reading of data,scaling output, and for HX86Atype units, changing the digitaldisplay and setting the alarms).All models have 3 outputs, withoutput 1 scaled for 0 to 100% RH,output 2 scaled for -20 to 120°C(-4 to 248°F), and output3 determined by the modelnumber. Output 3 for HX85Aand HX86A is -60 to 40°C(-76 to 104°F) dew point, forHX85BA and HX86BA is 750to 1100 mb, and for HX85PAand HX86PA is 0 to 200 psia.RH measurement range is 5 to95% with an accuracy of ±1%.temperature accuracy is±0.5°C (33°F).HX85A (probe only) models(HX85A, HX85BA, HX85PA) offer0 to 10V signals on the outputsvia a 1.8 m (6') cable. The HX86Amodels (HX86A, HX86BA,HX86PA) include a display boxattached to the end of the cablefrom the probe, and offers a 2 linedigital display, 2 alarms, three4 to 20 mA output signals, and anRS232 serial output.
