A highly accurate and powerfulsystem for testing, measuringand calibrating built into a singlecompact portable instrument.The trodeks® CL427 indicator/simulatoris a multifunctioninstrument designed to meet,in a modern and practical way,the needs of instrumentationengineers, both in laboratory andfield work. Accurate, compact,rugged and easy to use, it isthe ideal solution for measuringand simulating: millivolts, volts,milliamperes, frequency, sine,square and triangular waveforms,and thermocouples.The CL427 has been developedusing the most advancedmicroprocessor technologyto provide high accuracy onextended ranges and a powerfuloperating flexibility.A unique internal automatic RJcompensation system allows theCL427 to provide accurate inputand output readings in operatingconditions with a temperaturerange of 0 to 50°C (32 to 122°F).Further, external compensationis available that allows users tofine tune temperature output andmeasurement.The model CL427 has beendesigned for use in industrialenvironments such as factory floors,process plants, service departmentsand maintenance workshops.Millivolts, Volts, milliamps, andfrequency can be measuredor generated. Both accuracyperformance and stability allowyou to calibrate field and controlroom instrumentation. Squarewave pulses can be generated withfrequencies from 0.3 Hz to 20 kHz.Pulse height is adjustable between100 mV and 20 Volts. With thispowerful function, the user can eventest electro mechanical devicessuch as counters and relays.Simulating non-linearizedtemperature transmitters (Tx)allows the user to check andcalibrate 4 to 20 mA system inputhardware and software quickly andeasily. User can set or manipulatetemperatures in °C or °F related toany available sensor and send theappropriate milliamps to the systeminput. Milliamps can be monitoredsimultaneously on calibrator display.
