METRIC SERIES
These rugged stainless steel transducers are idealfor industrial, automotive, or aerospace applicationswhere only one side of the transducer is exposed towet media. These wet/dry transducers deliver the greatperformance characteristics of the Micro-MachinedSilicon Series Transducers at a lower price than thewet/wet models. They can be used in test benches, filtermonitoring, air flow, factory or pneumatic air, pitot tubes,air speed and other industrial or aerospace applicationsrequiring a very rugged wet/dry transducer. The solidstate silicon core will provide long, reliable service lifewith excellent long term stability. To obtain their highaccuracy and stability, the PXM409 Series use state ofthe art digital mapping of the temperature, pressureand output performance of the silicon sensor inconjunction with a custom ASIC to provide dynamicthermal compensation across the temperature andpressure parameters.
