Description
The DFG-RS3 is an economicaldigital force and torque indicator thatworks with a wide variety of plug andplay force and torque sensors. Allcalibration and configuration data isstored in the sensors smart connectorinstead of the indicator makingthe sensors truly interchangeable.In addition all of the remote sensorsare also fully compatible with theadvanced DFG-RS5 force/torqueindicators.A variety of interchangeable forceand torque sensors are available foruse with the RS3 series. Sensorsare available in a range of capacitiesfrom 0.25 to 10,000 pounds force forload cells and 10 oz-in to 100 lb-infor torque sensors. In addition to thepre-calibrated sensors the DFG-RSAprogrammable adapter allows theend user to calibrate most bridgetype force or torque sensor with a1 to 3 mV/V full scale output to workwith the DFG-RS3.The RS3 series also shares menustructure and most specificationswith the DFG35/HHTQ35 force andtorques gauges. A backlit graphicLCD displays large characters anda menu is available to access thegauges features and configurableparameters. Units also have a USBoutput for data collection and setpointindicators for pass-fail testing.
