The OM-CP-OCTPROCESS is alow-cost, high-resolution, standalone datalogger for automatically recordingcurrent between -20 and 120 mA. Battery powered and AC powered models are both available.It uses a 16-bit ADC to achieve aresolution of 0.01mA. In addition,the OM-CP-OCTPROCESS letsthe user store user defined unitsin the device, as well as scalefactors and offset values. Thisallows easy linearization andscalling allows any process meterthat provides an analog output toprocess units. This allows easyautomatic linearization and scalingof any process meter that providesan analog output to process units.This portable, easy-to-use devicewill measure and record up to16,383 current measurements perchannel.

The OM-CP-OCTPROCESSrepresents a major leap in both sizeand performance. Its small sizeallows it to fit almost anywhere. Itsreal-time clock ensures that all datais time and date stamped. Thestorage medium is non-volatile solidstate memory, providing maximumdata security, even if the batterybecomes discharged.

Data retrieval is simple. Plug thelogger into an available COM portand our easy-to-use software doesthe rest. The software converts yourPC into a real-time strip chartrecorder. Data can be printed ingraphical or tabular format. It canalso be exported to a text orMicrosoft Excel file.
