trodeks’S PX5500/PXM5500transducer series provides highperformance in demandingindustrial and research applicationswhere accuracy, reliability,and price are important. Thesetransducers have a 10-year MTBFrate and are stable to 0.1% of FSOover an 18-month period. Thistranslates into less downtime, fewertest reruns, more time betweencalibrations, and high confidencein your pressure data. Whenrecalibration is impossible, relyingon the high stability of the PX5500/PXM5500 Series transducers maybe the only cost-effective way toobtain pressure data over the longterm. trodeks’s thin-film technologymakes this premium performancepossible. The strain gages andassociated parts are sputter-depositeddirectly onto the pressuresensing element, eliminating theneed for adhesives. The resultingmolecular bond between the sensingelement and the strain gage ensuresvirtually no shifting, drifting, or“creep” in the performance of thetransducer. The micro-geometrydesign of the PX5500/PXM5500sensing element affords a very small,low-mass sensor that reduces effectsof mechanical vibration and shock.The PX5500/PXM5500 gives youaccuracy, reliability, and stabilityat competitive prices.
