The HHEM-SD1 meter comes witha multi-function probe that is usedto make air speed, humidity andlight measurements. Surfacetemperature and sound level aremade using optional accessories.Several features and capabilitiesenhance the meter’s versatility,among them are automatictemperature compensation formeasurements made by theanemometer, a Type K or Jthermocouple input, the ability tohold readings and display maximumor minimum readings, and anautomatic power off function thatextends battery life.Because it is microprocessor-based,the HHEM-SD1 can make full use ofbeing portable. Reliability and largestorage capacities are enhanced byan SD memory card.Measurements can be madeautomatically at any sampling ratebetween one second and one hour.After time-stamping and storing themeasurements on an SD cardplugged into the instrument, the usercan remove the SD card and plug itinto to a laptop or desktop computereither directly or via a USB cardreader. The data is stored on thecard as files with the .xls extension,which can be opened by Microsoft’sExcel application.The HHEM-SD1 has a backlit 2½"diagonal display and is powered by6 “AA” Alkaline batteries (included)or an optional 9 Vdc AC adaptor.
