Description
The LV150 Series high levelindicators provide a unique solutionfor tank overfill indication requiringself-checking. This indicator isdesigned with a 2" NPT mounting,making it ideal for use inunderground and abovegroundstorage tanks. When mountedvertically at the tank top, it reliablyindicates high liquid level.
To operate, simply press the brasstube fitting down to perform theself-check test. This manualoperation physically moves theinner reed switch assembly whilethe float remains stationary (wet ordry). By doing this, the switch logicis inverted, checking the integrity ofthe circuitry without the need toremove the unit from the tank.
Adjustable versions are available forvarying tank sizes. A special cinchnut on the mounting allows the stemto travel up or down to fine-tuneactuation points. The extent of theadjustment depends on the unit’slength and distance from themounting to the highest float stop.
The LV150 Series is offered inintegral one foot lengths. For otherlengths, adaptor systems areavailable. They consist of 2 parts:the LVR-C6S coupling(2 x 2" FNPT) and an LVR-6S pipe nipple (2 x 2" MNPT) of variouslengths to change the insertiondepth of the sensor. When usingthe adaptors, retaining clip pliersare required to remove the floatfor installation.
