The HHT digital stroboscopesprovides reliable and accuratespeed measurements as well asstop-motion diagnostic inspection.A rotary encoder enables quick,precise frequency setting from30 to 20,000 flashes per minute. Thecrystal-controlled circuitry eliminatesdrift and allows readings accurateto 0.1 rpm. "Divide by 2" and"Multiply by 2" buttons let the usercheck actual rpm. With "Phase +"and "Phase -" buttons, the user canadd or subtract internal phasedelays to keep the reference viewingtarget in eyesight. An "Adder Mode"enables visual inspection formisalignment or bent odd-numberedfan blades, propellers, etc. In the"Tach" mode, the unit uses externalsensors to measure up to 250,000 rpmdirectly without flashing the strobe.Up to 6 preset memory values canbe recalled from memory, and theunit recalls the last value measured.
A "Charge" indicator showsremaining battery life. Themicroprocessor-controlled chargingcircuit ensures long battery life.
