Description
The HX400 Series transmittersprovide remote and on-sitemonitoring of relative humidity andtemperature. Each parameter istransmitted as a 4 to 20 mA signalto remote receivers.The HX400 is a programmable2-wire field mounted humidity/temperature transmitter for usein environmental air monitoringand system. Its state-of the artdesign combines digital capacitorhumidity/temperature chip andmicroprocessor-based linearizationwith temperature drift compensationtechnology offering proportional,linear, and highly accurate dual4 to 20 mA output current in avariety of applications.The HX400 integrates functionsof transmitter, indicator andalarm outputs in one unit. Alldirectly measured and computedparameters are configured via front3 pushbutton without personalcomputer involved. Dual3-digit 7-segments LEDdisplay module indicatesthe values of the measuredparameters in measuring modeor prompting the programminginstructions during setup modeand calibration mode. The currentoutput models enable placing ofthe transmitter at a remote locationvirtually any distance away fromthe measuring device. The HX400models feature built-in dual displaysthat indicate both humidity andtemperature simultaneously.
